Our Container Grown Trees

Here at treehug nurseries we are trying to build a good stock of all the native trees that thrive in the UK as well as a good selection of interesting trees from around the world. ‘Right tree, right place’ is probably more important than native/non-native and a good diverse mix of trees is best for wildlife and humans in this changing climate.

Native Trees: trees which have thrived here since the last ice age and which have naturally formed close ties with the local wildlife. Most of our stock is 3-4yr old 10l pot grown trees.

Non-native trees: trees which are commonly found in arboretums and large parks and although relatively recent introductions, they thrive and provide habitat and food for local wildlife in addition to increasing biodiversity. Most of our stock is 3-4yr old 10l pot grown trees.
